How to access your cPanel Email with Gmail.
Please note that we cannot provide support beyond this guide in setting up Gmail with your cPanel Email account. Please contact Google Support if you require further assistance.
Step 1. Log in to your Gmail account and go the the Settings menu by first clicking on the Settings Cog (1) and clicking on Settings (2).
Step 2. Navigate to the Accounts (1) tab and click Add a POP3 mail account that you own (2).
Step 3. Enter the address of your cPanel email account and click on Next Step.
Step 4. On the next page configure the settings as follows.
Username (1): Full cPanel email address
Password (2): Password for your email account
POP3 Server (3): Server your cPanel account is hosted on. (Retrieved from visiting your cPanel account under Email Addresses – Configure Email Client)
Port (4): 995
SSL (5): Tick the box “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail.”
Step 5. Click on Add Account.
Step 6. Upon the account being successfully added, you can choose whether to use this email as From address. This way you will be able to compose messages in Gmail, but have them appear to be sent from your cPanel email address.
Check Yes (1) option to enable this functionality and click Next Step (2).
Step 7. Enter the Name (1) you would like to see in the FROM field and click on Next Step (2).
Step 8. Configure the settings as follows.
SMTP server (1): Server your cPanel account is hosted on. (Retrieved from visiting your cPanel account under Email Addresses – Configure Email Client)
Username (2): Full cPanel email address
Password (3): Password for your email account
Port (4): 465 (with Secured connection using SSL option enabled)
Click on Add Account (5) once all the details are filled in.
Step 9. Congratulations, your Gmail account has been setup with your cPanel Email Account!
